North Carolina-based Auto Glass Experts has implemented artificial intelligence windshield damage assessment from an Estonian company.
DriveX officials say its program tells customers if they need a repair or replacement based on photos taken on their phones. This helps triage the booking process and avoid unnecessary replacements.
“We wanted accurate, defensible decisions in seconds without adding friction for customers,” says Zuhair Madanat, owner of Auto Glass Experts. “DriveX’s photo-based AI fits our workflow, improves damage assessment accuracy and gives us insurer-ready evidence. It’s a straightforward way to cut waste and serve drivers faster.”
According to DriveX officials, Auto Glass Experts can send potential customers a link, and DriveX’s program will tell them to take photos of their windshields for analysis. Officials say the program “returns a repair-or-replace decision in seconds.”
DriveX is making its U.S. debut with its Auto Glass Experts partnership.
“Auto Glass Experts is the kind of innovative partner you want when entering a new market: fast-moving, customer-focused and willing to push the industry forward,” says Rauno Sigur, CEO of DriveX. “The U.S. is the world’s largest automotive market, and this is only our first deal [in the country]. We’re seeing strong interest, with dozens of potential partners in discussions.”
