YesPablo, headquartered in Mexico City, is an innovative provider of flexible vehicle rental solutions for ridesharing drivers. Founded in 2021, the company was born out of Planet42, a major car subscription player in South Africa. In early 2025 YesPablo adopted DriveX Technologies’ AI vehicle inspection software to reduce repair costs, improve collections for damages and gain better visibility over fleet condition and depreciation.

How YesPablo brings AI to rentals

“With daily handovers and returns, we needed a solution that makes vehicle-condition documentation faster, scales with our operations and delivers objective reports our teams can trust,” said Markus Remmet, CEO of YesPablo. YesPablo achieves this with DriveX inspections that provide reliable evidence for both the company and its customers to confirm vehicle condition and resolve damage claims after each rental.

YesPablo asks customers to submit guided photos with DriveX. These inspections generate reports that help the team check for damage, fluid leaks, tire wear, dashboard alerts and missing documents. DriveX is a valuable tool for spotting issues between maintenance and inspection checkpoints.

“DriveX gives us the visual evidence and consistency we need to mitigate damage risk and manage depreciation proactively.”

AI is Accelerating Mexico’s Mobility

Mexico is rapidly adopting AI solutions in mobility: subscription and rental operators are compressing handover times from hours to minutes, improving loss prevention and creating data‑rich vehicle histories that support better pricing, insurance claims and remarketing. Standardized visual records reduce ambiguity, enabling faster decisions and stronger customer trust.

“Mexico’s automotive ecosystem is evolving at remarkable speed. Roughly 38 million vehicles are in circulation, yet only about 30% are insured, meaning many repairs happen independently or DIY. Fleets and repair shops are turning to practical AI to make vehicle documentation and damage assessment more efficient,” said Rauno Sigur, the CEO of DriveX Technologies. “By implementing AI-driven inspections in its car handovers, YesPablo is setting a new standard for transparency and efficiency.”

What It Means for YesPablo

With DriveX, YesPablo’s team snaps guided photos on the lot, gets instant quality checks and marks any damage right on the images. Computer vision maps each vehicle panel, understands vehicle position and timestamps every shot. The system then compiles a clear condition report with severity, time and location metadata, shareable with one-click via link or PDF. This ensures every inspection is logged in a compliance-ready, immutable audit trail, so handovers move faster, disputes drop and residual values stay under tighter control.
